A transformation of an the existing shed into a dynamic and inspired place of business, combining industrial charm with contemporary functionality was the project brief for Wondall.  With a strong focus on enhancing the building’s exterior and interior, the project introduces a modern façade while repurposing the interior space to accommodate an office hub complete with staff amenities, a boardroom, and training facilities. The result is a revitalized workspace that fosters collaboration, innovation, and productivity in a stylish and efficient setting.

Industrial elements from the shed’s original structure are preserved and integrated into the design, adding character and authenticity to the modernized space.  Exposed beams, concrete floors, and metal accents serve as reminders of the building’s industrial heritage while complementing the contemporary aesthetic.

Sustainability principles are incorporated into the renovation, with the implementation of energy-efficient lighting, heating, and cooling systems to minimize environmental impact and reduce operational costs. Passive design strategies, such as natural ventilation and daylighting, enhance occupant comfort and while promoting energy conservation.

This design creates an inspired workplace environment that combines industrial charm with modern sophistication.  With its blend of repurposing and innovation, the transformed shed stands as a testament to adaptive reuse and the potential for creative revitalization in urban settings.
